Jon was appointed Chief Executive of Link Group in January 2019. He was previously 'Group Director of Treasury and Financial Planning' at Wheatley Group.

Jon has extensive housing experience in both Scotland and wider in the UK having held roles ranging from financial advisory services at PwC, through to the provision of corporate banking and equity investment at a range of financial institutions.  Jon has also worked with a number of central and local government bodies who have been involved in large-scale infrastructure programmes.

Jon is responsible for leading the Link group of companies and delivering the overall strategic vision for the group.  As Scotland’s second largest housing association group Link provides home and services across the breadth of the country.  With an annual turnover of over £110m and nearly 1000 staff, services range from in-house maintenance and compliance companies, through to intensive housing management teams and accredited training and development providers. 

Jon is also on the Board of 'Sustainability for Housing' which is the organisation that operates the UK's first 'sustainability reporting standard' for social housing providers.
